iDive !

hello peeps ... back from tioman ... well ...that was quite a trip ... an eye-opener definitely ...
not too much of pristine beaches, crystal clear water and cozy resorts ....
guess we were on the wrong side of the island to find pristine beaches ....
water wasnt crystal clear ... but fair enough ... good
enough to see fishes from above ....
the resorts were ok lah ... more kampong-like actually ... heres some pics ...

Tioman in the morning ....its quite nice yah ... its not very often that u get to see butterflies in the morning the moment u open the door ... and to find a cat lazing around at ur doorstep ...

heres some pics of the dive equipment ... gearing up .... taking the plunge ... thats choon on the left ... the pot-bellied dive instructor.... he rocks lah ...

the ang-moh dude happens to be my dive instructor ... romain... hes got this sexy french accent ... grey eyes... very handsome ...

after a couple of skills development .... we are off to the best dive site ... pulau rinngis ....
its really amazing... i was speechless .... if not for me underwater ... think daniel and su-ann would have seen tears of joy rolling down my cheeks ... wahhaha ... wished phyllis was there to see what i see at that very moment .... schools of snappers swimming past face ... parrot fish ... barracudas ... batfish... fusiliers ....cuttlefish ... stars ... urchins ...cucumbers... jellys ...feathered stars .. wrasses ... just to name a few ...let the explosion of colours bring you into the underwater world !

nice eh ? i could hardly stop smiling after we went onboard ...ha ... before we knew it ... its sunset ... it was also during the time when the sea gulls came ... there were so many of them that they practically filled up the sky ... too bad they didnt take a pic of that ... it was really impressive ....yeah tats me smiling like an idiot after ascending ...

the peeps at gilldivers are really passionate about diving ...and marine conservation ... up to a point where i suspect they dont eat seafood ... i really dont remember seeing them eat seafood ... might be coincidence lah ... ha ...

dinner for the night was bbq flower crabs !!! i like diving ... i love the reefs ... the corals ... the marine life ... but ... i cant imagine myself not eating seafood ...
